Author to Cosplay as her own fictitious character

Ft. Myers, FL October 5, 2018:“Magic is all around you, if you just take the time to look.”–Jaimie Engle

Come over to Ft. Myers and meet author Jaimie Engle at SWFL SteamCon! The Steampunk and Fantasy Con features authors, craftmakers, costume contests, tea and parasol dueling, and you can grab signed books and cosplay pics from Jaimie Engle Saturday, October 13th from 10am-8pm at the Araba Shrine Temple, 2010 Hanson Street, Fort Myers, FL

“Masks have been used by man since the beginning,” shares Engle about cosplaying. “We can put one on and escape into a reality that is our own or find courage to do something we couldn’t before.”

Engle will debut a new cosplay character at the con; her very own fictional character Scalvia from her Viking Werewolf novel Dreadlands: Wolf Moon. In the past, she has cosplayed Marty McFly, Jr., Trinity from The Matrix, Garth from Wayne’s World, and Dookie the Unicorn from the Squatty Potty brand to promote her book The Toilet Papers.

Engle will be signing books and cosplay photos at the event. Tickets for this kid friendly event are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-12. For more information about the SWFL SteamCon visit https://www.swflsteamcon.com/. For more information about Jaimie Engle visit www.theWRITEengle.com.
