Authors Come Together with Barnes & Noble to Give Back to Friends of the Library in Brandon

Melbourne author invited to share books with readers across the coast

Brandon, FL, November 2019 – Jaimie Engle has called Brevard County home since she was seven, around the time she decided she would be a writer when she grew up. Now, she shares literacy, social issues, and fantasy thrillers with kids and the young at heart through her line of JME Books. Jaimie will be signing books on Saturday, November 2nd, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble located at 122 Brandon Town Center Drive in Brando, Florida, alongside several incredible local authors.

“It’s a huge achievement to sign books in a brick and mortar like Barnes & Noble, especially as an indie author,” shared Engle, who recently signed a 5-book publishing deal with Texas based INtense Publications. “It’s been a lot of hard work to get those doors open, and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Getting to travel and share my work with new readers to inspire them to write is my favorite part!”

This summer, Engle visited five Barnes & Noble locations in Central Florida as part of her “Summer Book Bash Tour”, a partnership between the retail bookstore and the author to raise money for the Orange County Library System. Now, she is proud to take part in a similar setup in Brandon, Florida, to benefit the Friends of the Library.

“Friends of the Library are volunteers who work to provide resources and financial support for libraries and library programs,” shared Tracey, Manager of the Brandon Square store in Brandon, Florida. “We are partnering with the local Friends of the Library branches again to raise money for their library programs.”

Along with Engle, the following authors will be available to meet and greet:
