Independent Author to Meet Kids and Talk about Books, Life as an Author, and Storytelling through Cosplay

On October 20^th, from 2-4pm, Jaimie Engle will be at the Barnes & Noble in The Oviedo Mall located at 1260 Oviedo Mall Blvd in Oviedo, FL 32765. Engle will be signing copies of her newest release The Toilet Papers, Jr., a short story collection for kids, talk about life as a published author, and follow up with a Q&A session. This is part of Barnes & Noble’s ongoing Kids’ Book Hangout Event. Engle will provide a free Snapchat filter for the 2 hour event so kids can take personalized pictures to post on their social media.

“The greatest part of life as an author is interacting with the kids who read my books or who haven’t discovered them yet,” shared Engle. “There’s nothing better than hearing from a child that they connected with your characters and couldn’t put the book down. Knowing that I’m contributing to literacy promotion is a huge deal!”

The Toilet Papers, Jr. is a short-story collection separated by word count so you can read a full story whether you have to go a little or a lot, with stories so funny and so scary, you’ll have to read them on the toilet.
