How I Sold My Script to Hollywood

I’ve wanted to be in the movies since I was seven. In fact, I walked on camera at my first birthday party for the first time. After several pitfalls and over two decades, I learned to adapt, pivot, and eventually actualize my dream to become a professional screenwriter… and you can too!

In this video, I share my story in as candid a way as possible, to the local filmmakers of the Brevard Film & Talent Group. I hope you find some truth, inspiration, and actionable ideas from watching it. Please follow me and on all social sites @jaimieenglewrites. We are all on this creative journey. Let’s learn to encourage, inspire, and support one another. Can’t wait to see all you do!

  1. Congratulations, Jaimie. I knew you could do it. I sincerely hope you find more success in the days to come. Screenwriters of Hollywood beware. “JAIMIE” is coming.

  2. What I’ve noticed about you and your successes right from first meeting you is that you DO learn and act on the correct basic data and actions. Most others I’ve known, who want to be successful authors or writers, just don’t take the time to lear ntheir crafts, and keep on learning more. But you do, and it’s obvious to me.
