Daytona Beach, Florida, Sept. 10th & 11th – The Daytona Beach Comic Convention is the longest running comic book, toy, and collectible con in Daytona Beach, Florida. The fandom convention is pleased to welcome writer Jaimie Engle and sequential artist Koolasheck as guests this year, among many other celebrities, artists, and vendors. The creative team will be promoting their new comic book The 9 Circles based off Engle’s award-winning television show script. Daytona Beach Comic Con will be held at the Tommy Lawrence Arena at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, located at 3150 E New York Ave in Deland Saturday, Sept. 10th (10am-5pm) and Sunday, Sept. 11th (10am-4pm.)

“This is one of my favorite cons in Florida,” shared Engle, who has been a guest and panelist for several years. “Tom Raupp and his wife Trina put on an incredible show, take care of their guests and vendors, and create an environment for fans to return year after year. I’m excited to have a comic book along with my novels this time!”

Director Tom Raupp has secured the comic book convention in the 21,000 square foot Tommy Lawrence building. The Small Press Showcase will be in the 8,100 square foot Hubert S Talton Building. Vintage to new comic books, magazines, pulps, underground comix, original art, toys, action figures, POPs, Disney, and other collectibles will be for sale and you can also meet comic book artists, writers, and creators.

“I wanted to build a bigger show then what it was when I took it over,” shared Raupp, who has been running this show for over seven years. “We invite you to come out and meet author Jaimie Engle and artist KoolasHeck.”

Koolasheck has worked as a professional comic book artist for the past seven years. Through his love for comics and a practiced hand, he has created and published several indie projects with The 9 Circles being his first traditionally published comic book series.

“I am so excited to be a guest at Daytona Beach Comic Con, which is in my opinion one of the premier shows in Florida,” shared Koolasheck, who began drawing at a young age. “Plus, I can’t wait for everyone to see how Jaimie and I finished up The 9 Circles mini-series, as all three issues will be available here.”

Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.daytonabeachcomiccon.com.
