Wanna Write a Book That Doesn’t Suck?

“Engle’s guide book, which includes valuable insights and tips and tricks on how to improve one’s process of writing a novel/story, is well-balanced and thoughtful.” –Publisher’s Weekly Book Life Prize, 2020

Melbourne, FL 2/20/2020  – Who doesn’t want to write a book that doesn’t suck? Award-winning author Jaimie Engle’s answer? No one! Her latest “how-to” is receiving rave reviews, a compilation of writing tips and tricks from her years in the business as a writer, editor, and speaker. Engle began writing at the age of seven and published her first professional piece in 2007. Since then, she’s spoken to tens of thousands of students through schools, conferences, and libraries across the country.

“I believe all authors have the same purpose and that is to get their books into readers’ hands,” shares Engle. “After editing nearly 100 books by indie authors, I began to see similiar mistakes, many of which appeared in my own work, and it helped me to become a better writer. My book Write a Book that Doesn’t Suck shares all the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way, ideas that I guarantee will not be found in another writing book.”

Engle’s new podcast of the same name is another avenue to share the information in the book with writers who, like herself, are stretched for time. The podcast, on Space Coast Podcast Network, allows her to share small bites from the book in 5-10 minute segments. Engle also launched a Facebook Community of the same name to create a place for writers, who want to write a book that doesn’t suck, to come together and share ideas. These very topics are the basis of her highly sought after presentations.

“Jaimie Engle’s presentation was informative and gave me some food for thought for my future writing,” shared Ash McGrath, an attendee at a recent Space Coast Writer’s Guild Spring Conference led by Engle.

“Totally awesome presentation,” shared Betty Jackson, attendee at the same conference, based off Engle’s book Write a Book that Doesn’t Suck. “I need to rewrite my twenty-three books!”

Reviews on Amazon have been incredible. Vanessa Esquibel said how she loved that the book was formatted like a workbook with thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter and a space to write notes and ideas down. Another reviewer said if you are writing your first book or your 50th, you need this book!

Engle has completed the second book in the series, with an anticipated release of Spring 2021.
